Lowering your front suspension
If you want to maintain the standard handling you may in addition lower your motorcycles front end by sliding simply sliding the front fork legs upwards in the triple-clamps (yokes).It is very important to do the front fork lowering one fork-leg at the time! Do not loosen both sides of the triple clamps simultaneously, the bike will then slam down onto its front wheel.

Why not lower the seat using a lowered seat? Lowering the seat by cutting the padding is seldom ideal as the shape of the seat usually becomes wider. You can lower your seat by "shaving" to get a proper look, the shaving is done at the inside of the padding, you have to remove the seat cover and the padding for this procedure. The tricky part is to get the padding properly fitted to the backing plate and indeed to get the seat cover to sit nicely without wrinkles. A lowered seat wider sear is forcing the riders legs wider and is thus reducing the benefit of part of the seat lowered seat altogether, simultaneously the comfort may be reduced significantly with less padding. By cutting or shaving the seat you reduce the comfort significantly, also this modification is irreversible. Paying a professional upholsterer to cover your seat again will also be costly. What is the solution then if you are tip toeing in every traffic light? The solution is to fit a lowering kit for your motorcycle. In addition to the reduced seat and ride height a lowering kit will increase the stability of your bike.
