Yamaha MT-07 Lowering kits
Lower seat height using a Yamaha MT-07 lowering kit from Lust Racing.
By installing this kit the rear suspension is lowered and
the seat height reduced.
We have kits for all Yamaha MT07 models from 2014 to 2022. For 2021-2022 a pivot arm with pre-installed needlebearings and seals
offering a 30mm / 1.2"inch lowering.
For 2018 and 2019 models we offer a 30mm (1.2"in) lowering kit which replaces the pivot arm in the rear suspension.
The black anodized lowering pivot arm in T6061-T6 aluminum comes with pre-installed needlebearings and seals.
The lowering kit for 2018 onward models does NOT require any special tools for installation such as coil spring compressor.
Shortening of the sidestand recommended.
For 2014-2017 models we offer 25mm / 1"inch lowering kit, a spring retainer that replaces the standard spring retainer in the
rear suspension. When installing this kit the front forks are also lowered by adjustment of the front fork legs
upwards in the triple clamps.
This lowering kit is an excellent aftermarket accessory for the MT07 which enables shorter
riders to reach the ground.
The spring retainer in the lowering kit replaces the standard spring retainer in the rear shock absorber.
To install this kit you need a rear shock absorber spring compressor or coil spring clamps.
Unless you have the correct tools we recommend to have this kit installed by your Yamaha local brand dealership or suspension specialist.
As such the installation is not difficult, but installation requires correct tools to be used.
When this kit is installed the front forks are also lowered by adjusting the fork legs upwards in the triple clamps.
